How long have we been in business? We are a new non-profit startup. We are in the beginning phases and are at the point of needed funds to allow us to move forward.
Are you affiliated with a church? We are not affiliated with a specific denomination. We prefer to encourage the support of all.
What does “solution driven” mean? It means we are focused not only on the life of the child but on educating and teaching the mothers to care for themselves and their child beyond birth. We are also focused on building a strong awareness of cause and effect so the decisions she makes are well thought out (solution driven) and not just reaction based.
Why would I support this if I am not pro-life? Because caring for each other is universal and no one should have to choose to terminate their pregnancy out of fear. No matter what our beliefs, even if completely opposite we can always find common ground and we believe that common ground is supporting and loving girls and women in difficult situations. Our goal is to encourage, teach, and support continued growth and success even when faced with unexpected situations and that should be something everyone can support.
What is the next step? Securing land and funding so we can begin building a residence.
How many girls are allowed in the program? Our hope is to be able to have 36 residents with their babies, 12 girls in each of the 3 stages of the program. Funding, location, and size of the residency will dictate some of this.
